William Eggleston https://gagosian.com/artists/william-eggleston/ He captured photos of things he observed around him and a photo says a lot of what was happening and how things looked at the time. He also used a lot of color in his photography and some of his photos were simple but the object that he took photos of were the main focus and in a way you could create a story of what was going on. Also when a photo is captured it showcases what was happening at the time and a form of memory that can be kept forever.
Bernadette Mayer https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020/09/07/inside-bernadette-mayers-time-capsule She captured 36 photos of her a day for a month and she wrote in a diary and expressed what she thought about the images that she captured that day. She captured moments that tell her what she was doing throughout the day but not in a video but in photos and sometimes a photo can tell us how someone was feeling by the expression on one's face. We can sometimes forget what we have done each day because we don't really acknowledge most of it or its not that important and we forget but when you capture a photo it can make you remember what happened on that day.
I like to use Pinterest to help guide me on what things I can kind of do but add my own twist to it. I think by having ideas before hand it can help the process of taking photos move a little bit faster.
Jordi Huisman http://www.jordihuisman.nl/ He captured a lot of photos of buildings and I think that this is significant because sometimes we pass by building and don't really pay much attention to them. But sometimes buildings change because of the age of it or remodeling or natural reasons but the importance of this is that people change to it might take time but we do change. But throughout your life you will see strangers and they see you how you look now but in the future someone else will see you and see you differently just like buildings.
